September 8 - 29 (2019)

Theme Verse: “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25 (ESV)

  • Together We Find Peace (September 8)

Our world seeks peace in so many different ways. We seek peace among nations, peace in our cities, peace in our families, peace in our churches, and peace in our own minds and hearts. • Together We Experience Love (September 15)

The thing about love is it’s relational. It is meant to be shared. It is meant to be experienced together. It is together that our ability to grasp God’s love deepens. • Together We Grow Stronger (September 22)

Jesus brought peace and love. Today we continue in the book of Ephesians and turn our attention to how we let peace and love shape the way we live and treat others – living lives worthy of the calling we have received – and become stronger together.

  • together We Can Change the World (September 29)

We can get too hung up on viewing changing the world as a giant mission. We think for it to be real and meaningful, it has to be big and impressive change. The reality is that the most powerful change is slow and steady. It comes through consistency over time – like the water flow that carves canyons or the winds that sculpt desert arches in places like Utah. Be kind. Forgive. Love. Sacrifice. Together – over time.
