Tony and Penny moved their oldest daughter, Hayley, to Chicago this weekend.  She'll be attending the French Pastry and Baking School for the next 5 months.  They ask themselves, "Does she know how to change a light bulb, unclog a toilet, empty her garbage's when they're full, and cook chicken Alfredo?"  "Can she figure out how to ride the "L" at 5:45 AM to get to class and transfer lines if needed?"  "Have we taught every lesson that she needed to learn over the last 18 years?"

Well, the answer to these questions are yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes.  The last one, though, we have to look to God for this one.  We have to trust that the lessons she has learned will equip her for the path that she is journeying on right now.  Being a part of Mt. Olive Senior Youth as a youth and then for the last few months as a leader has been so integral to her faith journey and has equipped her to be trusting God, digging into His Word, and praying as she's away.

I know that so many of our graduates would agree that their time at Mt. Olive's Senior Youth was integral in their faith journey.  So, all our fun nights, bible studies, serving opportunities, and times in prayer really do matter!
